Executive Director – FINALY!

Qualifications/Skills:
-Undergraduate degree in a related field, combined with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
-Must have a background in a non-profit environment, program planning, grant writing, research and reporting experience.
-Capable of setting priorities and making high-level decisions on behalf of or in consultation with the Board of Director’s of the organization.
-Must demonstrate the ability to build partnerships within the organization, the community, government, and related organizations as well as the ability to recruit and retain members and other volunteers
-Requires strong human resource management, supervisory, administrative/organizational, financial management, time management, decision making, public relations, networking, leadership, verbal and written communication skills.
-Familiar with electronic bookkeeping; Simply Accounting
-Ability to act independently, provide leadership, guidance and support and work as part of a team
-Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of the issues facing youth in NL and experience working with young adults 15-35.
-Must have driver’s license and willing to use own vehicle for work purposes.
